Sam Brown is an independent designer and recent graduate of Leeds Arts University achieving a first class BA (Hons) Fashion Design. They were selected as one of four winners of the British Fashion Council x Net-a-Porter & Mr Porter Education Fund (2025), and began to build upon their namesake brand.

At Sam Brown we strive for excellence, equality and fairness. We are building a brand that is dedicated to paying the London Living wage and uplifting minorities that may face issues with access to work and training in order to restore and preserve craftsmanship within the fashion industry. We have a dedication to the environment and strive to ensure that all of our products come from materials of natural origin where possible; we use animal products that are a by-product of the meat industry as we truly believe that this is a much more sustainable approach to leatherwork as opposed to plastic based ‘faux’ leathers that have a chemically intensive production and shed microplastics throughout their much shorter lifespan.

We are dedicated to artistry and work with various artists and artisans throughout the creative industry to foster a sense of community and build a world that encapsulates the ethos and aesthetic vision of Sam Brown.

As a brand we are in our infancy, and in the process of delivering our first product offerings and truly appreciate all that support us on this journey towards a better, fairer industry.
